Keep your windscreen clear with our Metal Teflon™ Infused Wiper Rubber Refill (8mm, 28"), built for a smooth, streak-free wipe and long-lasting performance. Each pack includes 2 refills, making it a cost-effective way to refresh your wipers when the rubber is worn but the blade frame is still in good condition. These are the metal-backed refills (not the all-rubber style), typically used in traditional refillable wiper blades where the rubber slides through a track. The metal spine adds stability and helps maintain consistent pressure across the windscreen. They can be trimmed to fit smaller sizes if needed. Because they include a metal backing, you can snip them down to length using pliers or side cutters, then finish the rubber edge neatly for a clean fit. Compatibility note: These refills suit blades that have a removable end cap and a track where the rubber slides in and out. If your wipers are a sealed one-piece beam style with no removable end cap, they may not be compatible. If your blade housing, joints, or frame are damaged, we recommend replacing the complete wiper blade for best safety and performance.

Installation instructions

1. Lift the wiper arm away from the windscreen.
2. Locate the blade end cap or locking tab, then carefully release it.
3. Note how the existing refill sits in the track (rubber direction and metal spine position).
4. Slide the old refill out of the track. If it’s tight, gently pull while keeping it straight.
5. Measure the old refill against the new 28" refill.
6. If trimming is needed, cut the new refill to length using pliers/side cutters (for the metal backing), then trim the rubber neatly to match.
7. Slide the new refill into the track, keeping the metal backing aligned and centred.
8. Refit and lock the end cap/tab so the refill cannot move.
9. Lower the wiper arm and test with washer fluid to confirm a smooth, streak-free wipe.

Tip: If your blade frame is bent, loose, or damaged, replace the complete wiper blade for best safety and performance.
